Repairs were being made on an inclined plane, and for the purpose of clearing away this debris, empty tubs were left at various parts of the roadway secured by sprags; when this tubs were filled, each was lowered by the rope, beginning with this top one on to the next and coupled. Deceased had apparently forgotten to couple this last tub and got in front and took out this sprag, and as soon as he did so the tub ran away pushing him in front and finally running over him.
