Details of Event
When electrically firing a ripping shot charged with 10ozs. of Monobel powder, deceased placed an empty tub 14 yards from the shot. and took up a position 3 yards outbye from the tub. A piece of rock, probably ricocheting, struck him on right side causing a severe wound. He succumbed to his injuries on 8th June.
