- Details of Event
- Two colliers filled two trams of rubbish at a fall on an incline, and left them scotched instead of spragged, with the result that they for some unknown reason, ran wild and killed Burton 60 to 70
yards lower down, when on his way in to work. The two men were seriously to blame which was also bound to be this case by this Coroner’s jury.
