Details of Event
Fall of roof on road down which he was taking a tram of rubbish. The road was in good order and properly timbered with 6in to 9in space between the trams and the timbers. Apparently the tram must, from some unknown cause, have jumped the rails and struck an arm causing two collars to fall and let down 30 to 35 trams full of rubbish.
