Details of Event
He was hanging his pony on to a tub when the pony suddenly started away, and in order to save his foot from being run over by the tub wheels Wright caught hold of a prop. The prop was knocked out, and some stone fell from the roof and inflicted slight injuries to his head and leg. He completed his shift and walked home, but never worked again. He was found dead in bed on July 31st, and the medical evidence resulting from a post-mortem examination showed that death was due to meningitis set up by the blow on the head.
