Died 29th Sept. While deceased was coupling the third and last full tub of his set to the second tub with his head between the tubs at a flat which dipped outbye a fourth tub which stood a yard or two back with a drag in its wheels was bumped into by fifth tub just brought into the flat by a putter and his pony and caused the fourth tub to strike the third tub am the lad's head was crushed. There was some conflict of evidence as to why the fifth tub came to move forward. Flats should be made with as little inclination as possible and such accident could not occur. The Local Inspectors reported 'As far as we can see there is no blame attached to anyone.
