Died October 18th. Deceased complained on the evening of October 3, when he went home from the pit of pain in his left foot which he ascribed to a bit coal having got into his clog. He worked the next day still complaining of pain and afterwards was off till his death which was due to blood poisoning which medical evidence at the inquest ascribed to injury to the top of the left instep. The Jury found death was due to accidental injury to the foot.
