A Locomotive, while returning to the colliery, ran into a trolley having ten men of the platelayers gang on board. The collision occurred at a sharp bend in the roadway, and was of such violence as to cause the death of three men and slight injuries to four others. This accident happened on a private railway two miles in length. 3 killed.
