- Details of Event
- Deceased and another haulier were teaching a new horse to work. He had taken one tram in and was on the second journey with a tram of rubbish. Both men were walking in front of the horse when deceased told his mate to turn aside. He did so and continued to walk in front for a short distance when a scream was heard and he was found under the tram dead. He either fell or the horse knocked him down and passed over him.
