- Details of Event
- A full tub which deceased had lashed on to the endless rope became detached and ran down a gradient of 1 in 8 and collided with another full tub he bad just attached. Deceased being under the impression it was an empty runaway tub tried to twist an empty tub round so that it would not be knocked against the return wheel. The runaway tub, after colliding with the full one he had just attached to the rope, pushed it along the road until it crushed him and caused injuries which terminated fatally a week later.
