Fall from hanging wall or roof in a pitch or old stope about 18 feet high where he was working and where blasting had taken place shortly before. The stone which fell was about 6 feet by 3 feet and from 6 inches to 9 inches thick. So far as they were able to judge by appearances they considered the place safe.
