11 December 1937: Dunfermline Mine Fatality - Robert Wilkie, mine inspector, Chamberfield Road, Dunfermline, was fatally injured as the result of a shot-firing accident early on Saturday morning in the underground workings of Lochside Mine, Townhill, Dunfermline.
