Struck by tubs which ran loose down an endless rope engine dip to his place of work. The man at the bankhead clipped the second of two tubs to the rope to go down the incline the tubs being uncoupled the first one ran down loose. The tubs had been uncoupled by a boy unknown to the man in charge.
