The men and boys are taken inbye in the set. They, although they should not begin to get out of the tubs before the set arrives at the appointed stopping place. This boy had his legs over the tub end and presumably, missed the buffer. He fell between the tubs and was run over. This getting out of the tubs before they come to a standstill is difficult to prevent. In this case the boy was in the 19th or 20th tub the backoverman was in the 59th and would therefore have no chance to see what the boy was doing.
