Details of Event
Died 10th February 1903. A stone flew into his eye whilst he was riding on the road. He never worked after the accident for he suffered from chronic inflammation of the eye. Pneumonia set in and he died. At the inquest a verdict death was returned in accordance with the medical evidence. He was a delicate tuberoulous man.
