Deceased during his fourth shift at the work was engaged picking stones out of the ore after it had been loaded into wagons rom hoppers the shoots from which projected about 1 foot over the wagons. After the wagons are loaded they are drawn forward by a locomotive opposite a bench on which the stones are thrown and this was the boy's proper place but he appeared to have got on to a wagon at the shoot and had a heap of stones collected ready to throw on to the bench when the wagon reached it. While the locomotive was removing the wagon and others his waistcoat caught on the door of the shoot and he fell to the ground and the next wagon passed over his legs.
