His duty was, on receiving a signal, to work a clutch which drives one of the picking tables on the screens. This plant had only been in operation a few weeks and was not complete in every detail. By some means he became entangled amongst the clutch machinery, having probably been drawn there by the leather driving belt. A fence had been removed during the weekend and had not been replaced.
