Details of Event
The coal was being worked longwall in a step face the step being 15 yards. An airway is left at the step between the fast side and the pack. Deceased was found under a fall in his airway about 6 yards from the face. The timber had been drawn and deceased had no right there. He had been asking the men in the next place the time. He died on 1st May, 1914.
