Details of Event
Fall of roof on road where they were engaged repairing and setting timber. It was apparently brought about by a sudden side weight or crush which knocked out several pairs of timbers. It occurred in a rise cross measure drift where it had cut the seam of coal and where a pair of roads were being turned of it opposite to each other.
