- Details of Event
- Died 8th July. A putter had been slightly injured and was being taken outbye in an empty tub and at the siding the tub had to be lifted from the full to the empty way as full tubs were standing in the
full way. While this was being done, deceased came outbye with two full tubs he was sitting on the timbers. Shouts warned him to keep back but he was apparently unable to stop his pony and a person ran and caught it by the head deceased jumped off but was crushed between the tubs and a prop. The Local Inspectors examined the place and reported 'We have found the place satisfactory and in good order.'.
