- Details of Event
- Alexander Walls, a surfaceman who resided at Landale Terrace, Cowdenbeath, met with his death under distressing circumstances on Saturday. About 7.15am he was engaged in pushing a waggon at the sidings of the Gordon Pit, when another unexpectedly came up from behind. Walls was caught and crushed between the buffers of the two waggons and was killed almost instantaneously. [Dunfermline Journal 26 February 1921]
