Deceased knocked a piece of skin off his knuckle when putting a stud in a horse's shoe, and on the following Saturday rapped it again when washing a trap. Blood-poisoning supervened, and he died on December 11th from "heart failure arising from pneumonia and blood-poisoning brought about by the accident to the finger".
