Fall of coal. Deceased was standing in front of a length of overhanging coal face trying to wedge it down. It had been holed, and a shot had been fired a few minutes previously but failed to bring it down. The coal fell and knocked out a prop which struck and fatally injured the deceased. He died the next day.
