Deceased, having sawn through the arm of a pair of timber in a rubbish-road, was knocking out a temporary prop, set under the collar, when a mass of crushed cliff, 13 feet 6 inches by 11 feet by 2 feet thick, collapsed discharging three pairs of timber. He had been supplied with a prop drawing machine but was not using it. Nine feet seam.
