While inserting the electric gunpowder fuse into the mouth of a vertical shot-hole 20 feet deep charged with 2.5 lbs of Steetite with 3ozs of grain gunpowder on the shot exploded. The fuse was attached to the cable and the cable to the battery. This was the fourth shot in the same hole within 70 minutes.
