Deceased was employed filling coal at the gate end. An empty tub had been brought in, and the practice was to drop the front wheels over the end of the rails into small holes dinted into the floor to get more filling height. He appears to have been cleaning one of there holes out when a stone 3 feet 6 inches by 2 feet 4 inches by 10 inches fell, fatally injuring him. The stone came from the edge of the canch, and a pair of gears was canted out.
