The stallman was jigging a tub. This stuck part way down the jig and deceased pulled at the rope to release it. Just as he did this, a fall occurred, and a stone struck him on the back. He appeared to he only slightly injured, but was ultimately taken to hospital where he died on the 25th May. A small fault crossed the place, and after the fall slips were visible. A bump occurred just at the time of the accident and three props were knocked out. The place was well timbered.
