- Details of Event
- He died in Sedgefield Asylum, and the jury returned a verdict that he died from acute mania following injury to his ribs accidentally received while following his employment. He was supposed to have been injured by being crushed between a prop and a tub whilst lifting the latter on the road. It was a very doubtful case and probably should not have been included as a fatal accident, as the relatives failed to prove a case for compensation before the County Court Judge.
