Deceased and another were trimming away some loose stone near the floor, preparatory to drilling a shot hole. A heavy shot had been exploded 10 weeks previously, which bad left part of the face over-hanging. Deceased tried to bar down a large stone which appeared to be loose, but failed to get it down. While engaged a few feet below this, the stone referred to fell and killed him.
