- Details of Event
- Deceased, having recently started his motor, got under the rail of the fencing for the purpose of examining the slip ring bushes, when his left arm was gripped above the elbow by the teeth of a pair of cog wheels, which tore it off at the shoulder. The fuses, which were set for 30 amperes, blew at once, and the machinery stopped automatically. He died from tetanus on December 17th.
