Deceased was riding on the front end of a tram drawn by a horse, when the tram caught an arm and deceased was thrown to one side. He said, in reply to the fireman, that he was not hurt. He finished his shift, and worked up to the 17th June. He was admitted to the hospital on the 30th June, when it was discovered that he had synovitis of the arm. The arm was removed on the 8th October, and, as there was necrosis of the shoulder blade, that was removed on the 15th November. He died on the l8th November.
