Fall of coal from the face which struck him as he was raking coal forward with his pick. Sprags were set within 6 feet of each other, but as in many similar cases the coal was not sufficiently secured. Colliers are too frequently disinclined to set sprags enough and appear to be satisfied if they are set within the maximum distance allowed by the rules.
