- Details of Event
- While moving overburden he appears to have slipped or lost his balance and falling over the working face of the quarry about 15 feet he fractured his arm and according to the result of a post mortem examination some of his ribs but this was not noticed until after his death on the 7th Oct. The post mortem examination revealed that he was in a state of advanced consumption of old standing and had not a single sound organ in his body. The case is only included on the grounds that the injuries may have accelerated death.
