Deceased was lowering four empty trucks down a gradient of 1 in 80 alongside the loading wharf by means of the brakes, all of which were on the side next to the wharf. By some means his clothing became entangled with the brake lever of one of the trucks, and he was rolled between it and the retaining wall of the wharf. He sustained severe internal and other injuries, from the effects of which he died on the 17th October.
