- 30 September 1931: Midlothian Miner Killed - Thomas Storrie (25), a miner, resident at Forth View, Wallyford near Musselburgh, was fatally injured, and died shortly afterwards, through being crushed by a fall of stone in the workings of Carberry Colliery yesterday morning.
