A full tram was being let down a steep stall by means of a chain passed round a pulley attached to a point at the face of the stall. After the full tram passed the empty, which was tumbled on the side of the road the latter was put back on the road and attached to the other end of the chain. When the horse started pulling at the full tub the post came out the empty tram ran back and crushed deceased against the side.
