They were charging a hole on a ledge 20 feet from hour of quarry, which had previously been twice sprung with gunpowder, when the charge was ignited, and caused such injuries that they died two days afterward. Twenty minutes had elapsed since the previous charge had been fired; this evidently, was too short a time and the temperature was sufficient to ignite the charge which was being inserted at the time the accident. 2 killed.
