About 10.30pm. two 10-ton Eastern Railway Co.'s trucks which had been resting loaded with coal for some days and had become difficult to move were standing in front of seven 4-ton wagons several men including deceased were summoned from the screens to push forward the 10 ton trucks and deceased although warned to keep outside the rails was between them and when the trucks had been moved a few feet the smaller wagons crept away although the gradient only 1 in 159 and he was crushed between the wagons and trucks stated that one of the brakes on the seven wagons was pinned down.
