Deceased, after a stoppage of the machinery, was probably attempting to reach his working place on the large coal picking-belt by a shorter route than the correct one, when he must have stepped on a vibrating ‘Zimmer’ screen and fallen on a scraper conveyor, which drew him into the protected gear box.
