He was stooping down to see if the catch had properly caught the axle of the last of two full tubs he had just put into the cage, when a third tub ran towards the cage and crushed him between it and the tubs he had pushed into the cage. Died June 4th. He ought to have placed a block upon the rails, in front of the third tub, before removing the two.
