He was assisting in the erection of a new crusher, and at the time of the accident was engaged in fitting together some timber forming part of the structure. He was waiting for a bolt which another person had gone for when he somehow lost his balance and fell to tie ground, a distance of about 12 feet. His head struck a concrete slab, causing a fracture of the skull.
