Deceased was working in the face of a skirting when a large stone, 7 feet long, 4 feet at the widest part and 1 foot 7 inches at the thickest part, fell from the roof on to him, canting out two props set under the edge of it, In place, this stone, the surface of which was like glass, was most dangerous. Its treacherous nature could not be detected before the accident.
