Deceased was engaged in renewing a broken baulk in bad ground. The new baulk had been set, when the place went uneasy. Several middle props were set, and also additional side props. After the place had steadied, the middle props were being taken out, when the place came in, and about 25 tons of stone fell. The timber was probably not tight. There was a break running across the road, which was 13 feet wide.
