The deceased were working in a Thick Coal road, 6ft. wide by 5.5ft high, in which the settings were placed about 3ft. apart. The face was 4ft. in advance of the last setting, and another setting was being erected when a bump occurred and the roof collapsed, knocking out two or three settings and burying both men One was got out in a few minutes, but it took six hours to recover the other both were dead. 2 killed.
