Inspection made and inquest attended. Deceased went with an empty tub pushing it downbrow attached to a crab rope when the full tub he had previously left top of the brow without being scotched and probably not pushed far enough to be safe started itself downbrow crushing the deceased against the empty tub. He succumbed to the injuries received, May 16th, 1903, at the Wigan Infirmary.
