25 May 1916: Rosehall Colliery Accident – The next inquiry had reference to the death of George Smith, pit repairer, which took place on 1st June at the Alexander Hospital, from the effects of injuries which he sustained on 25th May, by being crushed by a hutch striking another hutch which he had been engaged in filling.
