Fall of roof in main haulage road, standing between the two ropes, waiting for empties. There was no warning, a huge fall, 6 feet thick, crashed down seven bars at two level ends, a good chock at each of the four corners of the levels. The seven bars at their ends rested on running bars set on good props. All the timber was new. A large quantity of gas was given off.
