- Details of Event
- A frightened runaway horse knocked him against some trams on an engine plane, by which he received injury to his chest. He resumed work after being idle for five or six weeks, but at this end of a week broke down again, and died on the 25th Match. It appears that when being taken along this engine plane the haulage rope touched the horse, which frightened it, and deceased tried to turn it into a side road.
