Details of Event
Deceased prepared a shot in the coal;e drew the pricker and inserted in the hole left a patent squib with a sulphur end and lighted it. The shot exploded before he was clear and he was struck by flying coal sustaining such injuries that he died the same day. He probably nipped off part of the sulphur end of the squib before he lighted it.
