- Details of Event
- Crushed by tub in a short jig dip. He had called up the dip for someone to come down and help him in his work and then he started to go up the dip. A collier at the top thought the shunt was to jig a tub and he turned a tub into the dip which ran down loose and caught Brassington. He had only worked underground about 2 months.
